Android Nougat Growth

Android 7.0 continues its growth it rising 1.5 % to 2.4% as compare to last month. Till March Android Nougat devices percentage is became 2.4% due to many smartphones announced at MWC launching with Android Nougat out of the box. Also many older devices continuing to receive the latest Android update.

According to this chart Marshmallow is the single most used version of Android is around 31.3% devices and Lollipop combine 5.0 and 5.1 together share 32.5%, falling only KitKat is at 20.8%, Jelly Bean at 10.6%, and both Ice Cream Sandwich and Gingerbread at 1.0%.

From starting this year we saw the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on T-Mobile and Verizon receive Nougat. Lenovo began rolling it out to the Moto G4 line in January In India and in U.S getting updates and Z Play also, while Honor is recruiting beta testers for the Honor 6X with EMUI 5.0. With the LG G6 launching soon, the company also confirmed Nougat updates for the G4 and V10. So it means Android Nougat to the March end getting on more devices.
